They are called anything lotions, there is a very large variety as per need. I will list some examples so you can see what can go into them and some ideas for combos, and they are working!!! People are using them for hair growth, sun tanning, shaving, anti-aging, ect.
I am giving 5 bottles away, I am looking for canidates that are either not on anything or for those that have plateaud from the current products they use. I will have a few questions for those that want to participate. JacksonVile@hotmail.com
All the thick lotions contain glycerin, shea butter, cocoa butter, and white cocoa butter, water, IM and only 4 other ingredients which cannot be divulged for a total of 10 ingredients in the base. Two of those ingredients are proven to reduce scars and increase collagen production and are NOT available in commercial preparations.
Thin contains all the same ingredients as the thick lotion except for the butters for a total of 6 ingredients. Beat that!
Thin lotions are a penetrating lotion with good moisturizing and are absorbed within 5 minutes leaving no film, residue, or greasiness.
Thick lotions have the same ingredients for penetration with excellent moisturizing properties due to the addition of 'butters' and are absorbed in 15 minutes.
All lotions thick and thin contain 5% isopropyl myristate and due to other ingredients there has never been an issue with the IM.
With addition of aloe to the thin GT and RT they are even better than water phase with virtually no phase separation.
To get no phase seperation in the water based thin lotions takes 2x the aloe.
Note, if you want little or no separation with the thin lotions, addition of the aloe is a must.
If you want little or no alcohol smell, aloe is a must.
If you want a more heat stable and finer cold thick lotion, aloe is a must.
Addition of L-carnitine to thin lotions has a very silky feel.
Carnosine cannot be added to GT or RooibosT THIN lotions.
Only one 'water phase' change can be made.
Bancha or young hyson Green Tea certified CS/CO is used as well as CS/CO for the Rooibos Tea. All tea is made in small batches at 1TBSP per cup in a 12 cup press with 185F water for 5 minutes. That is immediately poured over ice to make 2 quarts of tea which is then filtered and frozen until needed. You won't get anything like that in any commercial versions as I guarantee they are using dried extracts which destroys the polyphenols
Ethyl alcohol is necessary for maximum skin penetration as well as solvating the organic and is the only alcohol used.
Since all this is custom you start with a base and add what you want such as:

(forskolin 2mg/ml 8oz can be added to any of the lotions above, too.)
For shaving I just use the base thick lotion most of the time though I think the addition of curcumin is a little better.
In closing this is custom and you can get just about anything you want such as:
GT or RT only or 1/2GT with 1/2RT with Aloe for 8oz from which you can have all the other chems usually in the lotion like the IM removed.
