Do you mean nerve damage in the head?
Any tissue damage would have an inflammatory response which could exacerbate hairloss.
In theory however the hair should grow back once the inflammation has gone, unless the lost hairs were already very weakened by the male pattern baldness process.

i had a bad pimple once just aboutt 4 mm from my hairline. I squeezed it, it got infected - squeezed some more (idiot i know...) and killed a couple of follicles. I learnt the hard way.
BTW not sure if this relates to nerve damage at all.
