Need suggestions on a good regime (and Propecia alternative)

Hey guys,

Long story short, I'm around a norwood 1.5 at most and I had horrible side effects from propecia. This included gyno and other sexual side effects.

Right now I'm using nizoral 1% every 3 days, but I want to add a dht inhibitor or anti-androgen to my regime (that won't give me the same side effects).

I'm considering Revivogen as my main dht inhibitor, but I don't know how proven it is. I've also read on this forum that there's studies on onion juice working as an anti-androgen, but it seems iffy to me.

And on the side, I've considered using the Prox-N and Nano combo, and Tricomin or Folligen.

If somebody can guide me in the right direction for a complete regime (that's the most proven), please let me know. At this point, I'm more looking forward to maintaince, rather than regrowth.

Topical spironolactone for the hairline comes to mind. Haven´t tried it myself, but I would give it a shot. Don´t know about the other stuff though. Good Luck!

Thanks for the reply. Would spironolactone give me some of the same side effects as Propecia did? I've read about it but I heard about it giving some people bad sides. I figured that if I got it from propecia, then I might get it from spironolactone...although this could be an apples and oranges sort of thing.

No, there are no side effects with Topical spironolactone since it is applied topically, not internally like propecia or dutasteride.
