Need stronger (but safe) oral and topical anti androgens

I'm 25 years old. I began taking finasteride just under four years ago due to thinning/receding temples, and have added minoxidil, topical spironolactone (s5) and Prox-N since. My loss has continued (albeit it slowly) and I received my first "you're receding" comment last week :(, from my girlfriend of all people.

I now think I need to up my game.

Oral

dutasteride seems like the obvious candidate to replace/use in conjunction with finasteride, but has anyone used it successfully without any sides? I'm slightly concerned about using it since its very 'underground' compared to finasteride and sounds quite potent.

Topical

RU sounds ideal, but living in UK without bags of money makes it difficult.

Does anyone have any suggestions or can comment on my question about dutasteride above?

Thanks.

Yep I've decided to take the plunge and try this.

I was thinking of 1mg finasteride 6 days a week, and starting with 0.25mg dutasteride one day a week to start with (to get my body used to it, did the same with finasteride), before upping the dutasteride to 0.5mg a week.

Is it ok to rotate it like this?

There's no point in taking finasteride + dutasteride. It won't bring you additional benefits. dutasteride alone is enough.

Whilst I don't doubt that dutasteride alone is enough, I want to continue using finasteride due to the lack of sides that I have. Given the potency of dutasteride, I'd rather use it simply to 'help', or 'give a boost' rather than rely on completely.

Not that it's on my mind at the moment, but is it safe to have children whilst taking dutasteride? I know there were concerns about having kids while taking finasteride in the early days, but it is now seen as relatively safe...
