Need some advice

Hello All,

I'm new to the board here. Absolutely love it! It gives me a place to talk about my concerns with people going through the same thing. I don't know about all of you, but I can't talk to my wife about hair loss because she says she loves me no matter what and just doesn't get it. My friends all have great thick hair and just laugh and make jokes at me. So, since then I decided to do something about it. Thanks for the great website!

Here is my regime. I started Propecia last month and have currently added Nizoral to reduce the flaking. I have a few questions that maybe some of you can help me out with. Here are my questions:

1) To better my chances of regrowing hair, should I add Monixidil 5% to my regime?

2) How many times a week should I use Nizoral? Should I spread the days of use away from each other (like Monday, Wednesday, Saturday) or in a row (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday)?

3) On the days that I use Nizoral, do I use my daily shampoo and conditioner?

4) Lastly, can anyone suggest a daily shampoo and conditioner to use?

1) Yes
2)Every third day so monday- Thursday-etc
3) Thats up to you if you want to shampoo with it before nizoral, then use conditioner after it
4) Jason Thin-to-thick, American crew revitalize shampoo/cond, Avenda shampoo. There is a wide range, search the site for some good opinions

Best to use Nizoral twice or thrice a week. Before shampooing with Nizoral pre-wash your hair with your normal shampoo, then use Nizoral. You can use conditioner afterwards if you like. As far as a good shampoo and conditioner for everyday use this will depend entirely on personal choice so try a few out a see what suits your hair the best. I personally rate American Crew Revitalise shampoo and conditioner.
