Hi,
My hairline is starting to receed pretty bad on my right side, I've had it parted around that area for the last several years and I think that might have alot to do with it because the left side doesn't seem to be receeded at all, however I can see the pattern starting to form where the receeding hairline is going to go through my hair..I was on Proscar last year but stopped taking it after a months and just like the last week is when I've noticed my hairline getting worse espically on the right side..from what I've seen and read I don't think Proscar would do much for the hairline in that area, is that basically right? I'm not with the doctor who prescribed it for me and I don't have one at the moment so I don't know how I'd go about even getting a prescription for it..
I don't really want to get on Rogaine because from what I've seen not many has had benefits on the hairline..should I cut all my hair off and let that area where it was parted rest for awhile? I'm trying to grow it a few more inches so I can wear it in a pony tail but I know that won't do much for my hairline either so I'm not sure what to do..
I've read just now about Revivogen and spironolactone and I've been interested in Tricomin follicle spray, I've been using Nizoral for well over a year now, what else should I do? Should I start saving for a transplant in a few yrs but I can only guess how bad it'll get by then. It's really upsetting me because it's never been this bad any help or advice is greatly appreciated, thanks.

nothing works great on the hairline.. but everything does.
propecia and rogaine work best on the crown, but also have some positive results on the hair line.

i'd use propecia t/gel and you already have nizoral.

hopeflully you'll be alright.

Dont be too negative about using Finatsteride for frontal and temporal hairloss. It most likely will help you maintain what youve got and maybe even get some regrowth.

Yes propecia definitely does help maintain the hairline. I recommend getting back on it again asap.

I use Tricomin and like it a lot, so I'd recommend that as an addition to your regime aswell.
