Hi everyone, new to the forums.
I started taking 1.25 mg of generic proscar about 6 weeks ago and what I have been experiencing is scaring the hell out of me. I am a norwood 2 with diffuse thinning. About 3 days into taking proscar, I noticed every time I run my brush through my hair after my shower, it is LOADED with hair. I mean, atleast 30 or more hairs in my brush every single morning. This is scaring the hell out of me and I feel like I will be bald in a matter of another 2 months. From what I've heard, a shed can happen...but usually doesn't until around 3 months in. What the heck is going on? Why does this medication even make my hair fall out?
