Need one final push either direction.

The teeter totter of taking the meds again is stronger than ever. I need one final convincing push to sway me one way or the other.

I need a very thought out and detailed veteran post on why I should either take the drugs or be on my way to baldness. The more the better.

I can't make this decision for myself so don't give me garbage about how I should do what I think is best for me. I don't know the answer to that and haven't been able to answer that for 2 years now.

the answer is pretty simple in the sense that if you look in the mirror and hate what you see, take finasteride, min, nizoral - otherwise just shave your head because nothing else will help you.

What do you expect us to say? dekaz gave you the correct answer. If you hate what you see, get on finasteride/min/nizoral, or get surgery or a hair piece.

Neutrality. It results in me going bald because I won't get on the meds. Yet I'm unhappy about it.

I actually have been thinking about your case for a while today and what I am about to suggest may surprise some around here. Don't take finasteride. Just keep buzzing your head and move on with your life. Reading your posts over the past year or so, I don't think you will ever be happy if you decide to take finasteride. I have seen you flip flop so many times, from being anti finasteride, to being pro bald, now considering finasteride. Your mind will never be at ease taking it. You will always be questioning whether or not you are getting sides or when sides are going to develop. Your mind will never be at ease. How will you be able to be happy living in constant fear of ruining your health. I just don't see it.

For me it's a no brainer to take it. I don't want to go bald and I am prepared to deal with the potential consequences of taking finasteride. I can also live with my decision. Sure I think about it from time to time, but I don't let things get out of hand. 99% of the time I take the drug and don't think twice about it.
