Im 27 years old nw3 and I don't know if I should wait another year for pilofocus hair transplant vs a regular transplant. Is it worth the wait? I appreciate opinions.
Yeah, ive done that and im on it right now. I was a NW1 at 20, had great results with the big 3 then but I stopped and did no treatments until I was 26 but I haven't lost hair since I resumed my treatment. Im using the big three just to maintain.what other steps have you tried?
minoxidil, finasteride, nizoral, anything else?
I will due an FUE so the scar will be minimal. Also, it looks like I inherited my fathers hairline and that my hair line has stabilized. I haven't lost hair for years and haven't been on any treatment. My dad lost his hair early and has been a NW3 since 24 and he is almost 70. I also did a genetic test from 23andMe and they told me while I have the main male pattern baldness gene, all of my baldness SNPs are low meaning I have anti-male pattern baldness genes. Will the Wesley technique be any cheaper than a conventional transplant? Btw thanks for responding I appreciate it!I'd wait. For one thing, the technique is scarless, so if god forbid the transplant fails (which sometimes happens) then at least you don't have to walk around with a scarred head, which is a disaster. Also there is a possibility that the donor hair can regenerate with this technique to some currently unknown extent. Also Wesley is not going to be the only one performing this, he's going to share the knowledge. Furthermore if you wait one year then you be more sure of whether your hair loss has stabilised. If you got a transplant today and found that your normal hair carries on falling out then that would leave behind just what got transplanted.
Im going to do an FUE if I do the transplant.Yeah I would wait as long as possible to avoid the FUT scar no matter how small it is.
Once you're cut, there's no going back after that.
3 months. How long have you been on finasteride ?
