i have slowly been tapering my propecia dose, and decided that last friday would be the last time i would take it. my reason is side effects that i just cant avoid anymore. any dose is too high for me.

i currently use rogaine foam twice a day. i just ordered s5 cream, revivogen, and tricomin. should receive them soon.

i have read that when using the above, its unnecessary to use rogaine twice daily. also, revivogen should be used at least 3 hours apart from rogaine to reduce absorption interference.

in a perfect world id like to continue using rogaine twice a day, but that would make me regimen too hard... and poor compliance would likely follow. so here is a regimen that makes sense to me.

morning, after shower: spray tricomin first, then apply rogaine foam immediately after (any opinions/advice on this? does the order matter?)

evenings: apply spironolactone and revivogen together (is it possible to mix these?)

anyone think reducing rogaine to once daily would hurt anything? i havent particularly seen a huge benefit from it, but then again im not bald or escessively thinning in the traditional sense. ive just noticed personally that my hair is much more thin on the top of my head, although with an intact/thick hairline.

comments would be appreciated. thank you!

On the evidence of this forum, minoxidil seems to be more effective for receeders rather than diffuse thinners, so I'd say S5 and Revivogen are your priorities there.

Use Tricomin and Minoxidil in the morning, then use spironolactone in the evening. Wait an hour or two, then apply Revivogen.

should i be using both tricomin and rogaine twice a day instead of only in the morning? and then revivogen in the evening? i just dont like the 3 hour rule between applications of different products that revivogen recommends, so i figured id simplify by using tricomin and rogaine in the mornings and revivogen at night.

both tricomin and rogaine are hair growth stimulants, so if i was to use them both just once a day i was wondering if it would be best to use one in the morning and one at night to get some stimulant effect twice a day instead of using both just once.

Man if you want serious long-term regrowth then your probably going to need to use Tricomin and Minoxidil twice a day... this is easily done. Tricomin dries in 20minutes, you can apply minoxidil on straight after.

Plenty of people report success using minoxidil once a day for the first couple of years but after that your haircount will start falling again and DHT will gain the upperhand over minoxidil unless you use it twice a day. There are plenty of threads here showing various studies which illustrate this.

Speak to the experienced poster Dr House about this too, he switched to using minoxidil once a day thinking it would do no harm, but soon his haircount fell.

You need to leave at least 8hours between each minoxidil application and then at least 3-4hours after that to apply the Revivogen (before you go to bed). This sounds like a lot I know, but if you live an organised life, i.e. you get up early for work in the morning and go to bed at 10-11 at night, then you can easily fit this whole regimen into your day. Good luck man.
