What is the best shampoo for oily scalp? Mine is oily.
I am from Pakistan. I checked all major stores and they all said Nizrol 1% and 2% are not available here anymore.
Neutro T-Gel and T-Sal and all major brands are available here. So what will be best shampoo/combo for me?
Currently I am using Progaine Shampoo (From the makers of Rogaine) only on alternate days. Nothing else.
Breif background: I am 25yrs old. My hairs started shadding (male pattern baldness) 6-7 months back but hair-loss is visible since June, 2005. I have still lots of hair on the top, but hairline is almost gone and my right-side is most affected. I went to few doctors regrading hair transplant, all said you are not a good patient for hair transplant because my hair-loss is not stable yet. So I stopped thinking about it.
I started taking Propecia (Locally known as Genesis) 1 month ago. It has helped in slowing down in hair-loss. As far as I know Propecia's main job is to stop hair-loss, not regrowth. So I started using Rogaine (5%) 4 days ago.
My treatment:
1mg Propecia (Genesis) daily.
Rogaine 5% twice a day (with 8 hours minimum gap b/w two applications)
Progaine Shampoo
B-Complex
Green Tea
