Got a haircut today so my hairline is more exposed, and I need opinions. Pictures attached, and let me know if you need more!

Cant really tell much from those pictures, more would help anyone judge better.

I'm 21. I looked at some pictures from when I was 18, and it hasn't changed much. But the temple area concerned me

Do you feel like your hair has gotten thinner?
How is your family background? Are your parents, brothers, grandparents bald?

My dad is 45 and still has solid hair. My uncle from what I remember had really good hair. My grandpa still has hair too.

Idk much about my mom's side. The one pic I saw of her dad in his 20s had nice hair.

And hmm. Here is a picture before my haircut, it grows back insanely fast:

I never noticed any thinning, just the temple area kind of worried me.

Honestly it looks like slight recession. If I were you I'd monitor it though for now. You say that you haven't noticed any thinning or felt any, therefore I think you should recess every 3 months or so. Waiting to hear opinion's on other's here might be a wise choice aswell

Thanks haha. I posted a bunch of pics when my hair was longer and only got these two responses:

https://www.hairlosstalk.com/intera...ld-how-is-my-hair-should-i-be-worried.113722/

Then via PM this:

"You're a NW1 with good density which is basically perfect hair. You have some smaller hairs at your hair line which suggests either baby hairs or miniaturization. Miniaturization is basically your hair dying. You need to find out about any family history of baldness. It doesn't really look like you have any hairloss, but if you do you've caught it in the very very beginning stages which is the best time. If you're having anxiety and wouldn't mind taking a light preventative measure regardless, I would invest in some ketocanozole shampoo and use it every other day. There's no long term commitment like minoxidil and the only side effect is somewhat dry hair which goes away throughout the day or instantly if you use any hair product. Keep your photos and take new ones in 3 to 6 months. Then compare them."

Great advice, but after getting my haircut the temple area started worrying me. Wasn't sure if it's normal

You're most likely fine. AS mentioned, just recess and you'll be fine. gl

On your left temple you can slightly see further back, however, like Alphalete has said its too early at this moment. Have your temples always had a diagonal slant? If so, then that natural, don't be alarmed there.

You be the judge. Here's a screenshot of a picture from June 2016. Same hairstyle I currently have.

First picture is from summer 2016 with same hairstyle I have now. Second pic is longer hair, a day before I got my haircut this week.

I'd say its a matured hairline at this moment. If it were not, then you wouldn't be here with concern; just keep an eye on it. More than a 1cm high on the temples with your forehead wrinkled & you're in trouble territory. Take care.

Thanks bro haha. I'll keep it on check. I never even thought about it until a month or two ago when a few friends and I talked about it. I took a picture and I was like wait wtf lol, is this normal & you too man!
