Need Advice!!

Hello everyone, . over the past year my hair has receded and thinned very rapidly. I had very thick hair about a year ago, then all of sudden i noticed a bunch of hair shedding when i'd shower and the texture of my hair changed too. I thought it was nothing but it continued. I also felt very fatigued around this time also. I went to my doctor and he said all my tests came back normal. So recently he put me on generic finasteride manufactured by Greenstone. I also have purchased some lipogaine and nizoral to use as well. Has anyone used this form of finasteride (greenstone) before. also can hair recede from issues other than male pattern baldness?

any family history of hair loss? if you could post some pictures of your hair, some people may be able to tell you if your hair loss is something do with male pattern baldness or not. cheers

I do not have any pics currently at moment, and I dont feel comfortable putting my pics up just yet..., but basically yes all men on my dads side of family are bald. My older brother lost his hair somewhat at young age. I'm 30 but have had my hairline and all my hair up until last year, then it shedded like crazy and thinned. I am mostly wondering if anyone has any input on this generic finasteride from Greenstone. I havent seen any mention of it on this forum or online really..
