the laser comb is a waste, combined with minoxidil, it probably has the same effect as retinol by reddening your scalp to increase minoxidil absorption.

fluridil should help. it is very manageable with its extremely low viscosity and fast evaporation. I don't know if it is as strong as spironolactone cream, but you can apply it once a day or maybe less often and get some results. I've read posts on HLH that it works. I'm using it right now and can't comment yet, since I only applied it twice.

I find fluridil so incredibly difficult to apply, though ive only done it once. I bought it, and have the intention of only using it if I can use half an ampule per day to cut costs, but it's just so alcoholy and drying, i cant spread it arouind my scalp at all. And with antiandrogens, i like to make sure i reach everywhere.

However ill try it with the minoxidil dropper tomorrow perhaps, and my mind might change.

In answer to the original question - proxiphen and fluridil are completley different. If you have been using proxiphen for longer than a year, you can drop back to every second day applications, which should cut costs in two. This might be a better solution.

As far as antiandrogens go, fluridil isn't independently proven, remember. it's also very expensive.

I'm using fluridil at the moment, I don't find it that bad to apply but I do wish they would make a version in a cream or gel vehicle

The ampules are annoying and I bet they push the price of fluridil up because of the manufacturing costs

If they put a version out with a gel or cream which was a lot cheaper more people would try it
