I hopped on H&W Finasteride gel to recover some of my hair and started experiencing sides. Didn't have any ED but had a ball ache for a week which went away and also had breast tenderness for the past 10 days. I went to my GP today and he said there is definitely some breast tissue in there but it's about as much as someone who doesn't take finasteride. My breasts still hurt and he left the decision to me, he said I can either drop it and accept my baldness (at 21) or keep using it but risk potential gyno.

What do you guys suggest I do? I still have 5 months worth of liposomal finasteride gel but after battling severe acne and baldness for the past 6 years, I could also be battling gyno.

If its tender its gyno, it could grow or stay the same but dont expect it to go down. Try a Aromatase inhibitor, if that doesnt work then you have a choice to make.

I think you should continue for next few weeks and then make a final decision. Be sure not to drop Finasteride now and then adding it desperately again in 2 years, when your hair has become too bad.

I spoke to the doctor and while his opinion stays firm that hair doesn't matter and I should drop finasteride, he said I could try to wait for the gyno symptoms to go away then retry at a lower dose which is what I'll do. As soons as I am back to normal I will once every three days. I only skipped yesterday's application and already most of the pain is gone, still slightly sore on the left side.
