it's pointless to visit the dermatologst unless your picking up a perscription.
If you dont notice hair falling out i woulnt bother with hair meds..
it's natural for your hair line to creep up with age.
if your really concerned i'd go with propecia over rogaine.
but it sounds to me that it's not serious. I wouldnt bother with any drugs unless you see 15+ hairs fall out in shower.
