Hello everyone i'm called James and i'm new. Basically ever since the age of 17 i have suffered from DUPA which was very distressing for me since i was at college and thats when looks matter the most to people, i first noticed that the hairs near my ears were getting thinner around that area and later on an overall thinning of the scalp which was very odd and so i left it for a while till i went to a dermatologist at the age of 18 he said i had a rare sort of hairloss seen in men but more common in females and so he told me that the only drug that could help is propecia, so i took that for 8 months and saw no difference in the thickness of the hair, if it slowed it down i dunno, and so now i find myself thinking if avodart would work better since there was a guy on these forums a few years ago called jayman who took avodart with great results who had a type of diffuse hair loss called dpa which differs because the hair on the sides are not affected, i am now 20 years old and appear to have a full head of thinning hair with no recession on the hairline, one other interesting fact is that my mother who is 55 has DUPA but thinner than mine, is avodart worth trying?

avodart is worth trying and could do a lot for you but its not FDA approved so its entirely up to you if you choose to get it

if you have hair all over your head then try nanogen fibres or toppik, they will work wonders for you as you have diffuse hairloss :)
