It usually hits everyone in the room no matter how far once the foreskin is retracted.
I've developed a smell a few times when I've sweated a lot and the attachment is like 2,5--3 weeks old. But it's just a strong smell of human skin, scalp, nothing very abnormal. Last time it was when I mountainskied many days every day and wore a helmet.
