Just wondering what you guys think would look better.

I am NW3 or 4 (not too sure). At the front of my head I am very thin (almost bald) and I have a bald patch at the back of my head. When I cover it up with toppik it works wonders and people don't notice my thinning. I have been cutting my hair short ever since I've been losing my hair but I wanna grow it long and have it like my brother. He is 3 years younger than me and has a perfect NW1 and I really like his hair and I think the ladies do as well as they never look at me and always look at him. We both lookalike in the face but our hair is so different in terms of he has no thinning whatsoever and I am half bald. Like I said before the toppik works wonders but I am not sure if I could grow my hair long and put toppik on all the bald areas and get away with it. Or should I just accept my fate and keep my hair short?

I really want girls to notice me and not just think of me as some old man ie they think I am alot older than what I am :(

keep it short bro

longish hair with people are balding looks bad. And desperate.Best to keep it short I reckon, shows you're not trying to hide anything (unless your using toppik!).

Plus, if you keep getting balder while you have really short hair it's not so much of a dramatic change.

I don't have one. The meds and treatments are too expensive for me. I don't use anything apart from toppik.

I've never used toppik but wouldn't it take up a lot of your time trying to get your hair exactly right, making sure you've not missed any areas? I don't know man, it just seems like it would be a lot of hassle.

Dude, you work in London... I'm not saying you are rich, but you must spend a small fortune on normal things over there. All you need is £10 a month. Buy some finasteride and minoxidil online. Kirkland minoxidil comes for about £6 a month, and the finasteride you can get for £5 a month.

The point is that you don't need too much money. Sacrifice 3 pint a month.

Thats not a good longterm plan, :shakehead: getting on finasteride will probably not get you any hair back but its about you're only chance of keeping what you still have left.
The longer you stay balding the less your toppic is going to be able to work.

I have an idea: grow it long and then comb it backwards so that it will cover your bald spot. That looks way hot! No, seriously the only way to look decent is to keep it short.

yea dave seriously,i spend something like £4 a month on fincar,£12 on a can of foam and the nizoral works out something like £5 a month

even if you just used fincar and foam ,surely you could find £16 a month?! you must spend 4 times that on a night out?

dude, get confident, figure out who you want to be, accept your going bald, get off the topik as the whole idea of 'hiding' is both mentally and physically unattractive. whats attractive is someone whos confident in themself.

Yeah i know losing your hair sucks but confidence goes a mile.

Dave seriously mate get on some treatments.

I get 30 generic 5mg Finasteride on prescription from my GP and take it to my local ASDA pharmacy, £13!! As I cut it into 4's that 13 quid gets me 120 days worth! And nope, no side effects whatsoever.
