I'm a diffuse thinning NW2 to 2.5V. My pattern is an NW5 though - I have the very high sides and crown of a 5. My sides and back are both incredibly thick and dense. My hair texture is very thick
the problem is I can't figure out whose pattern I'm following. My dad is a NW6 but with a very sparse donor area. My mom's father was a very dense, thick NW1 at 50. My mom's brother is like a NW2 or 3 at 55 with no treatments
What's gonna happen with me? Are my sides going to be as heavily depleted as my dad's sides are? I think I have the exact same hair texture as my mom but there is zero history of such heavy balding in her family at a young age (i'm 29). My density on the sides is very similar to my mom's
