I have hair texture and density (on the sides) identical to my mom's hair. She has very thick, wavy, dense hair. The problem is I've lost a lot up top, which is like a 2-3 hairline but diffuse loss and a 4-5 crown. My mom's side has fantastic hair - my grandpa was a NW1 at 50 and my uncle is a NW2. I don't think either are diffusing
My dad's side is an NW6 which leads me to believe that I will have his pattern but he has very thin donor area. My donor area is the thickest and most dense my doctor said he's ever seen (I'm 29).
What do you guys think will happen here? Am I going to end up being a 5-6 but with great donor area? Could I stay around a 3-5 long term? The weird thing here is I dunno anybody on my family who is a NW5. Everybody on my dad's side is a slick bald NW6 and my mom's side is all 1-2s
