Yes! that day I've waited so long for and yet expected never to come!

I don't really no why it stopped I think it might be due to the combination of conditioners,Vitamins and propecia. I don't think any of these did it on their own (incl. propecia)

What is weird is my worst day of hairloss was like two days ago?
and then I went and bought Aussie mega conditioner and palm leaf conditioner and applied these both and ever since then (2 days) I've only been able to pull out 1 strand every few pulls...

Seriously , If you read my previous posts you'll see how destressed I was for the last year. I've been taking propecia and hair vitamins for the past few months with little avail , and then all of a sudden I use this conditioner and my hairloss has subsided? I find this extremely odd?

I've been taking a shower every morning and using shampoo. I think I might have been drying out my hair and washing away the oils , but I only started taking so many showers because of my hairloss. I think by taking these conditioners I've made my scalp a more hospitible place for hair folicles to grow and I believe that with propecia inhibiting the DHT , my hair might be at optium level for regrowth!

Unfortuenatly my hairline has been pushed an inch or so back and my crown is thin , but now that I'm not losing hair (hopefully it will stay this way , I know its only been two days) I might be able to grow some back.

Anyways , don't neglect your scalp and use conditioner as much as possible. I can't believe I've gone from losing about 10 hairs for one pull to just about one hair for every 5-6 pulls.

Does anyone have any ideas of why my hair might have just suddenly stopped? I don't believe propecia just suddenly stopped it one day since it hasn't worked for me over the course of a year.

Im happy for you but I wouldn't get to excited. I went through a good period for around a 2 years where my hairloss didn't progress and I thought I had finally slayed the dragon that is male pattern baldness but I was wrong. After a couple of years of solid hair, the hairloss kicked back into gear again and I had to take my regime to a higher level in order to combat it.

male pattern baldness is progressive. It just doesn't suddenly one day stop....We wish.

Its a roller coaster ride. Get used to it

yeah man not trying to be a dick but dont get too comfortable. i started thinning very slowly around summer 2005, but my hairloss kicked into full gear in may 2006. i lost half my hair between may 2006 and january 2007. then after jan i thought my hairloss stabilized but lo and behold the agressive sh*t kicked back in around july 2007 and i lost half my hair again. so basically i had less than a quarter of my hair from 2 years before. now im just bracing for the huge shed that is surely to come this summer. but this time im actually using finasteride, nizoral, minoxidil and nano shampoo. just be careful dude and dont get too complacent.
