My finasteride-less regimen

Im starting to have some results with my regimen and just wanted to share my progress. I must be a good responder, because after only 2 months on minoxidil, saw palmetto, and folligen lotion I have a lot of velious hairs and about 20 new terminal hairs growing on my hairline. I just started applying the minoxidil to my crown, because I never noticed any loss there until a few days ago. I quit proscar after using it for a little less than a month because my chest started getting flabby and I didnt want to take a chance on getting a bad case of gyno. I recently started applying Retin-A cream to my hairline after my morning minoxidil application dries. Im not sure if you're supposed to apply it before or after minoxidil or if it even matters. I dont know if it will help any but its worth a shot.

Without inhibiting the binding of androgens to the follicle you will eventually lose your hair.

Minoxidil (and to a lesser extent Folligen) will initially produce more hair than you are losing to the natural balding process, so you will appear to be gaining ground.

After a year or two you will most likely begin to lose hair, people usually blame this on minoxidil losing its efficacy, this is not so, its just that the balding process is miniturizing follicles as a rate greater than minoxidil can hold on to them.

If you have problems with Propecia, maybe you should look into using Spironolactone.
