i think i can't see any problem.

and is that really natural light? Looks like dusk with a flash camera.

do you even have hairloss? Your blonde friend has a bigger problem than you, tbh.

If you read my deleted post..forget it...I was looking at the wrong dude. I think your hair looks good. No recession there...or not very noticeable at least. A bit thin on top, but not bad at all IMO. Your friend might want to look into treatments as well.

That white shininess...thats all scalp...and my hair is natural there...cant really style hair thats been buzzed to like 3mm.

well of course it's scalp

! BECAUSE YOUR HAIR IS LIKE 3mm LONG !

the white area on your head is centered right at the light source (the camera flash) so that's why it looks like that. You know; like a specular highlight. Or did you really think you had hairloss at the sides of your head? The norwood safe area?

The blonde guy has thicker hair tho...and hes had it his whole life since I known him...jus has a naturally receded hairline believe it or not. If he kept that for life I think id rather keep it.

i've seen a pic of your hair when it was long and it looked like erm .. normal hair.

i haven't actually seen a pic of you where it looks like your diffusing or whatever so I dont really know what you're doing here. unless you'd like to post one now?

I do have it a bit at the sides. My hair is really interesting...I cant tell much with if its density im losing or calibre. But I know that the hair on top basically stands...and on the sides it lies so the side is covered more. My hair may be brown but used 2 be very blonde. Now when light hits it it practically goes transparent.

I think you should keep the #1 on the sides and let the top grow a bit, maybe to a #2 or 2.5 or even 3. I'm quite thin on top and I usually keep my sides about a 1.5 and the top about a 3. It makes the thinning less noticeable IMO. It kind of creates an illusion of better coverage. You have much more hair than me, so I think that may suit you well.

Guys ok. I guess I cant catch the resolution of it but take a look @ this guys story. Look @ especially the month 0 pics. His hair his thicker, but regardless the thinning and the hair type and quality are like a 95% match to mine. So after u look @ the month 0 pics and tell me theres no scalp showing and thats not balding (despite that he has a Nw1) I will drop all treatments.

EDIT: NVM heres the pic

I'm balding that same way. Whoever said "grow the top out" knows nothing about balding. His hair is obviously falling out and not growing back on top and he is approaching an NW7 hairline.

My hair looked like that too when I buzzed it with a one guard about 5 years ago. Now my hairline and crown is much worse. Looks like you have the early stages of male pattern baldness, but I would still feel fortunate if I were you considering you jumped on the meds this early.

Well, I wouldn't say he knows nothing about balding, but I actually agree with you. I used to buzz my hair with a longer clip on top than on the sides, but I realized that you'd want to keep your hair as short as possible on top if you want to hide the thinning. Even though you buzz the sides shorter, you're still not fooling anyone with longer hair on the top. MacAttack, I suggest just to buzz it with a one guard all over.

Sigh..well it looks ok extremely short...the 1.5/1 buzzcut i can roll with it for a day or so. But i really wish this nonstop shedding would stop. I think im diseased with something...either my docs are quacks or not telling me something...this is seriusly starting 2 look terrible. Comments plz guys...every1 claims theres so many diffuse thinners but noones friggen helping...guess most are receders here like ive said many times (99%+)!

Well that would have been me Cap'n Obvious. Know nothing about balding? Please..I've been losing it for 20 years, and have MUCH less hair than the Norwood 1.5's hanging out here. I didn't say grow it out, I said keep the top a BIT longer than the sides. I know for a fact it looks better on me and I made the suggestion to MacAttack. He's hardly approaching a Norwood 7.

Beaner if u dont mind...would I be able to see some pics...for me like I said because the sides r thicker..plus they lie on top of another rather then a burr...form a thick matrix fast...this is offset by buzzing it to guard 1...almost any hair type and calibre buzzed to 1 or 0 would reveal scalp...its jus lil stubs sticking outta the side of ur head. This makes the contrast to the top of my head minimize, but I still have the top buzzed to 1.5 with that lil length HELPING but not fully disgusing my loss. Because my hair grows fast though, this cutt only lasts for 3-4 days as quickly, my side hair matrix is reformed, covering my scalp.
