so im sitting here depressed out of my *** 17 years old losing my hair faster then i ever imagined all because there isnt a single man in my family without male pattern baldness and not a single woman on my moms side without diffused thinning

so....
im guna shave my head completly, and i dont care theres nothing more i can do about it ive already spent all my money (3000$) trying to fix it and im just guna be bald until im older and rich and can afford a transplant

go f*uck urselfs for not releasing the cure to the public all for your god forsaken dollar.

have you tried finasteride, or even dutasteride (which you sound like you might benefit more from since your hair loss is so aggressive at such a young age)

also..if there was a cure..thered be a lot of money to make from releasing it...way more than there would be from propecia or anything else. Men are never going to stop balding..so they arent going to run out of customers...and they could pretty much charge whatever they wanted for it

I'm sorry to hear about your disappointments. I must say, we are in a somewhat fortunate period where the bald look is not only very common, but somewhat in style. I hope your new looks suits you.

Dude maybe you should just sorta ease into it? I got sick and tired of trying to comb my hair, so i took the clippers and did a #3, decided it was too long, so then 2, until i finally went with the #1.

The only people who hated it was my mom and grandma. Ha. Everyone else though it looked great. My one girl friend came over to my cousins and she spent a good 30 seconds with her hand just petting my head since it was so fuzzy.

I don't mind it short at all, in fact its great since i don't have to comb it. Plus im 100% convinced that i stopped my hair loss and am in the process of reversing it, that i'm just keeping it short until the hairline straightens out to more of a straight line mature looking hairline.

Any way you choose, short is getting in now. And i'm 5 foot 4 inches mind you ;p
