I recently discovered that my dad is taking Dutasteride due to risk of prostate cancer. I don't see any noticeable sign that he is recovering hair (60y old), but I don't see any sign of him having side effects either. Can that mean that the possibility of me having side effects is lower, or as hair loss could happen just to random people (because f*** genetics) that means nothing? Because if there's a slight possibility of not having side effects I think I would consider taking the pill after having tried minoxidil for 6 months.

He’s doing ok, I’m not sure how his sex drive is because at his age is hard to tell if it's a dutasterise side effect or just the age. Obviously his sex drive is not the same as 40 years ago. I’m pretty sure he doesn’t have gynecomastia.

You need to determine whether or not his sex drive has been effected & how if will effect you. This is done two ways
1. Ask your dad to whip it out & get funky with himself
2. You must be present in the reproductive rituals of both parents. You will be David Attenborough in the amazon forest.

it's crazy that young people like me ( 24 yo) have to take drug made for 60 yo dude just to keep their hair .
