hahaha i just saw my dad for the first time in a while today and he told me:

"wow son, your hairline hasnt gone back 1 inch since the last time i saw you. remember how worried you used to be about losing your hair? you might still lose it yet, but not early."

i said "dad, my hairline isnt receding, my hair is just thinning all over on top"

he said "no son, it doesnt happen like that, you either start to lose it at the temples or you get a bald spot."

I just shook my head. its gonna be a surpriese to see him in 2 years with my nw7.

Parents sometimes act like complete idiots (sorry ma and pa)...But its the truth. When I started losing it (casually also on the top first), I asked mom and dad first for their opinion and they told me it was just a bad haircut. Yeah right....Thanx mom and dad. I could have started finasteride at least a year before.

once again showing the value of this message board.

i remember the first time i bought foam, before having ever read this board, got home, read the insert that said it only works on the crown and dumped it in the trash!

i never would have started foam or propecia without this board and all the great testimonials etc one can find here.

Its not the way our parents view our hairloss that it will going to be better.

Ok So our parents gave us the power to be bald. Is their fault? Should they castrate himselfs so they couldnt breed?

Lol that is quite amuzing. If hairloss was only that simple. Ive seen many bizzare balding patterns out there. Probably the worse kind is the little island tuft floating on its own at the front of the hairline.
