Hello i started my first ever regimen last week !

im only 17 years old and suffering fron very thin hair.

my current regimen is:

Minoxidil %5
Nizoral %1
T-Gel

Is there anything else i should add to avoid thinning and help for the regrowth? its my first week so im hoping i will have good results by 6 months , but if there anything that you would like to add now that i would benefit 6 months later pls do so. I cant get propecia since im not 18, i just turned 17 :hairy: when i wet my hair i can really see the scalpe from the hairline which is pissing me off i hope minoxidil will solve this. I started now so i would benefit of good hair in upcoming years !

Cheers for comments ! :)

I would consider looking at sprio or revivogen in combination with what you are using to help reduce the effects of DHT and hopefully promote the effectiveness of minoxidil.

Given your age and the statistics, the minoxidil should really help you and six months is a good time frame to set your expectations for.

I agree with Bomb. The minoxidil will make itself apparent first by improving the quality of your existing hairs. They will, or SHOULD, get thicker and longer and healthier in texture, and you will probably notice that within 3 or 4 months if you are a responder. Regrowth will probably occur given your young follicles, but it takes time. But, if you really want to hit the hairline diffusion issue that you seem to be concerned about, I think a topical DHT inhibitor would be a nice addition. Perhaps try spironolactone 2% at night, see how it works for you on your scalp. It is not mandatory, if you have caught your hairloss pattern early then minoxidil alone might make you happy, but it would be a nice addition if you are looking for a "next step".

No, Nizoral is your bedrock. Use it three times a week, EVERY week.

Rotate the others and experiment with this rotation as suits your scalp best given the scalp-healing powers of the TGel, and the hair-healing powers of your non-medicated shampoo. Cheers mate!

I will have to agree with gardener on this one.....trying a topical DHT inhibitor sould make your regimen solid if you can afford it.Plus topicals relieve you of the floppy c*** syndrome.
