Hello friends, I want to share my case among the many cases in this forum.
I take the time to invest these brief minutes, on one hand as a thank you and on the other to share my experience and the information that I searched for and compared for almost 3 months. I believe it is worth reading for those considering an intervention of this type, comparing it with other testimonies to make a decision, whether at a specialized clinic like Murat Makasci or wherever they think is best. Do it, it's worth it.

Three months ago, I started looking into what this hair transplant thing is all about. I searched online and soon saw that Turkey has many state-of-the-art clinics. I don't rule out that there are clinics in other countries, but Turkey has seriously specialized and has taken a significant advantage over the rest.

The Search:

I have searched in forums dedicated to the topic, in the Google community, on Trustpilot, and I have used AI (Gemini and Deep Seek) to compare what each clinic offered me. With testimonials and photos, I made a comparison between all the clinics with the highest positive ratings from the last two years that I found, and while all have good reviews, I made a list of 6 clinics in Turkey that I considered the best according to my research.
I have not found cases of patients who have had problems, whether they used the Fue method, the Fue Sapphire, or the DHI, in the last two years in any of the 6 clinics I analyzed.

I contacted the six of them via WhatsApp, and they asked me for photos from different angles and to answer some questions about my health status, allergies, surgeries, medications, and ongoing treatments. They gave me a list of medications they were going to use, basically local anesthesia, antibiotics, and corticosteroids, so I could show it to my doctor.

Due to my case of advanced alopecia (I'll try to upload a photo), the clinics agreed on suggesting that I do the procedure in two stages. A first one of around 3500 follicles and a final one 6 months or a year later to completely cover the entire recipient area without weakening the donor area in a single extraction. What seemed reasonable to me.

Until, finally, one of those 6 clinics told me that after reanalyzing the photos, they could extract all the necessary follicles in a single procedure, which I considered a significant advantage. Generally, they start by covering the forehead and the front part of the head well, and then they work on covering towards the back, depending on how many follicles are available. In my case, I asked them to prioritize the crown and not so much the forehead. They told me it was possible, and that helped me make up my mind.

We moved on to the exchange of more specific information, now tailored to my particular case. Logically, each patient is different, and in this sense, I believe it is advisable to convey what one wants and fully trust that they will decide the best treatment for that outcome.

The FUE SAPPIRE method uses a smaller and sharper blade, which makes finer cuts and helps it heal better. At the clinic, they clarified to me, however, that this varies according to each case and is not a strict rule, but that yes, it was suitable for my case. Fortunately, thereare various methods to adapt to each case.

The Clinic:
The clinic is called Murat Makasci and is in Istanbul.

They offer two options, the difference being that the Premium option includes a follow-up treatment with mesotherapy products, serums, shampoos, cleansing foam, and vitamins, everything needed for six months.

The extras:
For the choice, I really didn't take some aspects like the hotel and transfers into much consideration; they would surely be of good quality and I wasn't worried, because logically the only important thing is the final result. Both were very good, the hotel, the transfers, everything was top-notch.

The clinic and the personalized reception generate trust; the flow of patients who come in and out of the follow-up checks the next day, smiling and carefree, invites optimism. The organization is very dynamic and professional.

The intervention:

First, a joint plan is outlined, then the hair is cut, and the procedure for the transplant is organized. This is done through a conversation between the patient and the specialists, where questions are answered, the process is explained, and once they ensure everything is clear and we are predisposed, the intervention begins.
One of the logical doubts is the issue of pain. In my case, I only felt a bit of discomfort when they administered the local anesthesia, for a few minutes. The procedure happens naturally and takes a few hours, depending on each case. It is perfectly tolerable, considering that it is a surgical process. First, the follicles are extracted, then the channels are opened, and finally, they are implanted. Before starting, blood is drawn to enrich it with plasma, which is applied at the end.
They took 5400 follicles from my head and about 100 from my beard, making a total of 5500. It exceeded my previous expectations. The distribution of the follicles was according to what I asked for: higher density at the crown and a bit less in the front area.

Post-intervention:

The post-op is simple, starting from the second day after the check-up, you need to begin with basic care, medications, painkillers if necessary (I didn't take anything because I didn't feel any pain). Once at home, you need to do the daily wash and take the antibiotics and corticosteroid to reduce inflammation. At the end of the antibiotics, which coincides with the shedding of the scabs around the tenth day, vitamins, serums, and mesotherapy are started. They gave me everything necessary for a six-month treatment. Additionally, I have Excel files with basic care instructions, the schedule for returning to routine and activities (physical work, swimming, etc.), and an explanation of how the process works (growth, shedding, and subsequent final growth of the follicles). Lastly, an exclusive WhatsApp channel for me with them, where I send photos and address any questions I have, in a follow-up for a year.

CONCLUSIÓN:
Three days after the procedure, I have no pain or discomfort. The transplanted follicles are clearly visible, covering the entire area that previously had no hair. I don't know too many cases of treatments in other clinics, but I have to say that so far everything is exceeding my expectations. From now on, it will be the natural processes, which I will accompany with the necessary care, that will determine the final result, but up to this point, everything that is humanly and scientifically possible has been done. Even beyond that, because the fact that someone who doesn't have hair then has it, has a scientific explanation, but also something magical in the result.
I hope my testimony helps those who are looking for information, my recommendation is clear and sincere. Life is good:
