He decided after a year or two (I don't remember) that his hair was disappearing regardless. I agree from what I can see on the webcam. But I talked him out of stopping. I told him to just use Nizoral 2x per week, and use Fincar cut in 4ths ($7 per month) and just stop all the nasty expensive topicals. I can totally understand him not wanting to pay for proscar if it is not even saving his top. I told him he needs to preserve his side hair because a topper costs less than a full cap hair piece. So I'm the guinee pig for mid February.

Did not work for him. He used it 6 months, and said his hair is getting worse. I saw him on the webcam. Maybe it was the camera contrast, but he looked a lot worse. His vehicle was 50% oleic acid, 50% everclear, and 2-3% RU. Easy to spread it with his hair so thin.
I still say if you don't get sides from finasteride, guy fincar and cut it in 4ths to save your sides, $7 per month. You can get a decent topper from toplace for $200, or a better quality one for $300 from cool piece, and it will last 4 months, the coolpiece one. The toplace ones don't last quite as long. Just what I read from some people. I'm just talking about swiss lace though.

He was also using rogains foam during this time. I bet his shed was from that. It was not a sudden shed though. Just gradual downhill for 4 months until he decided it was not working and just gave up on all topicals.
