if you are looking for a capsule or something taking orally to improve your hair and thicken, go for msm, i started it taking it for over 3 weeks and 3000mg everyday(1000mg capsule), and my hair's quality and thicken level has gone at least 2 bars up, my hair doesnt fly all over the place when there's a wind so thats a good thing... this works better then minoxidil when thickening but one thing it doesnt do is regrow  , o well im happy with results and it makes skin and nails look healthier too , i heard its good for joints as well, but it thickens overall hair very well.. Go and get it now if not sooner if you are looking for healthy and thicker hair.

? In three weeks the hair you have will only grow like 7mm, maybe a full cm with MSM. How can that produce a noticeable effect?

Yes MSM is good but you won't see any improvements in 3 weeks. :hairy:

It took about six months for me to notice any difference in hair growth rates after starting MSM.

id believe that in 3 weeks you could see a slightly noticeable difference in your own hair..because youre scrutinizing it...to most pple tho they wouldnt be able to tell...i mean if minoxidil can be as fast acting as 8 weeks, why couldnt msm be fast as well? And yes, I know, you wont see much of a difference in 8 weeks

It amazes me how some of you guys know exactly what is doing what.

finasteride shed, minoxidil shed, nizoral shed, Telogen Effluvium shed, seasonal shed, MSM made hair thicker, nizoral made hair thicker, finasteride made hair thicker, Zinc made hair thicker but MSM didn't, nizoral made me lose hair while Zix made me keep hair, etc

Yeah there is alot of crap slung around on these forums. Fortunately the smart people realize it and laugh. The down side is that misinformation and BS tend to spread and confuse people that are just starting to learn what is going on with male pattern baldness.

I stand by my claim that 3 weeks is too short to notice any change and even if there was a change it could be attributed to the randomness of the hair cycles on your head.

hey i never said i knew exactly what was doing what all i said is anythings possible...no one here to my knowledge is a specialist on anything related to hair loss..if we were, we wouldnt be here..nor would we be losing our hair lol..only thing we can do is explain things based on our own experience, and then make rational suggestions to others based on them..plain and simple..and just keep it at that..just because your experience with these things is one way, doesnt mean everybodys will be the same...for some reason, many think that their particular experience is the ultimate guideline for anyone else..and many others take what others say here as absolutely golden

dont know about thicker hair, as i've only been on it maybe a month. However the one thing i have noticed is my hair is far less oily. As i started back on avodart maybe 3-4 months ago, and msm is the only recent change to my regimen i'd like to think i could be reasonably sure that it was the msm making it less oily.

It works great for me, I never have any problems connecting and I always get a really high connection rate. It's so much better than AOL and I definately suggest switching to them as your ISP because the service is great.
