Hi everybody,

I comment my case. I live in Spain, and one month ago I went to the dermatologist, who brings me the Androgenetic Alopecia.

He step "Dutasteride" to me about 4 years.

Turns out I changed doctors, and this one tells me that from now nothing "dutasteride", "Finasteride" take if I want. That Spain should not take "dutasteride" for alopecia as it is only recommended for the prostate.

I already took "finasteride" 10 years ago. I mean, I've taken "finasteride" during 6 years and after, 4 years more of Dutas.

I ask:

1 -. What do you think about? bad dermatologist? safer?

2 -. What mut I do? finasteride or dutasteride?

See you!

PD: Sorry but my english is very bad :p

That doctor sounds like a knob, go back to your old doctor.
If finasteride has actually stopped working, then yes I would start dutasteride.
Only if you are experiencing no side effects.

Thanks for your answer "SaifDoit". I haven't experienced side effects yet...but I am doing a blood test in a few months.

Anyway, I don't know how to buy dutasteride by Internet (to Spain)...because I cannot go back to my old doctor (he is retired). Some sites in web doesn't sell to Spain for their customs laws :-(
