Month 5 propecia update with pics

I've been on propecia for 5 months now and the verdict thus far is - I haven't really noticed much change. Have a look for yourself, it seems to look thinner, although I did cut my hair very short for the 1st time in my life so it gives that impression.

I thought you are supposed to see a change at 6 months? I'm already 2 days past 5 months and not much yet.

I've decided to stop using minoxidil. I used the stuff on the hairline for 5 months and although it made small changes and grew some hair, the change wasnt good enough. my summery of the stuff is you apply it day in, day out making your hair 10x worse, only to grow bum-fluff back.

I've been to 5 job interviews this month and I didn't get any of them. I know for a fact that my hair is playing it's part in this. Irrespective of what qualifications you have, appearance plays a massive part and like many of you, hairloss is playing it's part in destroying my appearance at a young age.

Ah well, that's my moan up with!...

on to month 6.

Hi Gunner,

Sorry to hear that minoxidil was not working for you. I agree it's not worth it if all you get is baby hairs.

Please keep us posted on your finas results, I have a somewhat similar head of hair... and I would be very curious to see some more pictures in the next 6 months.

Also, has your hair loss been slowing? Any side effects?
