I read several stories where Finasteride has fucked guys badly. Many years ago we have understood that Finasteride isn't the safest drug in the world and now I'm wondering why do people still start taking it without visiting a doctor?

Can a doctor spot a negative dynamics and prevent bad Propecia side effects? Have someone had that experience? Because in those horror stories guys were taking the drug for several weeks at least, I feel like a couple visits to the doctor could help those people to understand a way better how the things were going.

For instance, I heard that the early stages of gyno could be successfully diagnosed and cured by doctors. Can the same be that applied to other Finasteride sides? (ED, brain fog, etc)

Well, as a med student, I’ve talked with many urologists about taking finasteride and they all agreed that it was very safe and tolerable and actually recommend it.
They’ll tell you this, like any physician prescribing any drug, “Take the drug for a week or two and if you have side effects, discontinue using it.”
As for detecting EDs, the only way to differentiate between psychological and physical ED is nocturnal erections as they are not affected psychologically.
So the only way to know how you respond to the drug is taking it and finding out.
As for treating ED while on finasteride, you could take drugs that will help you achieve erections but that’s really not recommended. You can also wait and see if they go away as several people had their initial symptoms go away but that’s up to you to decide
Good luck
