Mixing Minoxidil foam and liquid safe?

Hi everyone,

I am going to begin using Minoxidil and based on what I've read there are pros/cons to the foam and liquid.

The liquid typically has a greater chance for higher penetration into the scalp, however it takes significantly longer to dry and leaves hair with a much greasier appearance than foam. The foam is easier to work with and usually leaves hair looking nicer, but becomes more difficult to apply to longer hair ... and as a result fails to absorb as well as the liquid.

Are there are negatives to purchasing Minoxidil foam to use in the morning and a liquid to use at night? Or would mixing these two be harmful (Would it hinder results)?

Thank you,

I use Rogaine foam when I wake up and Rogaine liquid in the night. It is safe, I have no problems to report, i'm at the 2 month mark now.

Thanks for the replies every one, I've had connectivity issues stopping me from replying to this thread earlier. I appreciate everyone's input on this and as an update, I've just started using Kirkland Minoxidil in liquid form, I'll be using the Rogaine foam when it arrives for the mornings.

Cheers,
