minoxidil with anti-androgens

Hello,

My doctor has recommended a treatment that combines minoxidil with anti-androgens (more precisely female hormones). Has anyone used such a treatment? Although the female hormones are in very small quantities I am still worried of possible side effects.

Are the hormones topical ?

yes, they are topical. Mixed with the Minoxidil solution. The hormones are oestrodiol and medroxyprogesterone.
