I started a new thread the other day but it got niw views so ill make this short.

I trying to get me dermatologist to prescribe a higher % minoxidil, but i also belive i heard that retinol is a good addition since some poeple lack a certain enzyme.
Can anyone verify if i have that correct, and if its not retinol, do you know what it was?

Not sure about the lacking enzyme aspect but you may be looking for retin-a (aka tretinoin). Make sure you get retin-a microsphere. I'm currently using .004% but plan to switch to .01% once my current stock runs out.

All-trans retinoic acid is the bioactive form of vitamin A (retinol). Retinoids have been used clinically as therapeutic agents against a number of cancers. Retinoids have been reported to induce the phase I drug metabolizing enzymes, cytochrome P-450s.

Ethanol will also express sult1a1.
