minoxidil: Reducing Applications

Looks like minoxidil might have to become a reality for me again since my entire scalp is now visible under any light.

Question is. If minoxidil is applied for 3 months twice a day, and has it's regrowth and those hairs become terminal.. can

1. These hairs be maintained from once a day applications, or even something like 3 times a week?

I've heard stories of people cutting back applications for maintenance with no loss. Anyone care to share their experience?

Well, the Spectral DNC FAQ states that some people have applied it only once per day after 2-3 years of successful regrowth, and this was enough to maintain. 4 months is not long enough to even go through enough hair cycles to get a thick terminal hair pumping out of a follicle.

Why can't you use it twice a day?
