minoxidil re-growth

I am currently using minoxidil and flutagel.

My plan is to get re-growth for 9-12 months on combination of the 2 and then continue to maintain on flutagel.

My question is has anyone ever re-grown hair with minoxidil and then maintained it with another product? Or is minoxidil hairs totally dependant on minoxidil?

hairs grown by minoxidil are minoxidil dependant.

that sucks!! what the hell is special about minoxidil that makes the hair grow but only if kept alive with more minoxidil? Its like heroin for hair follicles!

I was planning to use minoxidil as a stimulant to get extra re-growth and then once re-grown use flutagel to stop dht binding to the androgen receptors so the hairs would be ok. DAMN!!

no side effects but its not ideal for when i want to style my hair. I was hoping to only have 1 thing to apply.

I.e. a minimum amount of fuss to maintain!
