Do minoxidil results get better in the 9-12 month range? I shed a lot in the 1-3 month phase, had great thickening from 4-5 and now at month 6 it's thinning again. I know they say rogaine takes up to 1-2 years to see the maximum regrowth and thickening potential. Can anyone chime in? I will add topical finasteride once Hasson + Wong or polichem makes it available.

What the hell does that mean? Pretty disrespectful.
Not 1 minoxidil study in history has shown that. People read that it ages their face and they then begin to look at their face and examine it more than they use to. I was on minoxidil for 2 days and quit because I thought I was getting wrinkles. Guess what? That's impossible. I just didn't notice the small laugh lines before taking the drug. I realized how foolish that sounded and jumped back on it. I have regrown and thickened my hair. Now, it's shedding but it could be the cycling of the hair. Anyway, bottom line: min has at least kept me at or above baseline

In my opinion, hair loss adds WAY more years to your appearance than a few lines in your skin.

And if you're really worried about that, you can always counteract it with proven anti-aging skin treatments like retinol/retin-A and oral collagen
