Minoxidil only results for 2 years?

hi i am taking finasteride, my hair stop to fall, but i want to have more hair! and that is not hapenning. i am thincking to use minoxidil to estimulate hair to grow, but i have read that minoxidil only results for 2 years. can anyone explain me this thing better? in yours opinion we should wait to use minoxidil latter? or i should attack my problem now with this 2 drugs? if i get results with minoxidil and i continue taking this my hair will not fall ?

I think you are an IDEAL candidate for minoxidil! :)

You've stopped the balding process with finasteride, and now you want to stimulate a little additional growth. Minoxidil is just right for you! It should give you that extra little "offset" of growth.

Basically minoxidil will take around 2 years to reach it's maximum potential (for you this means the most improvement) after this time you will not see any imrpovement in from using minoxidil. Failure to continue with the administered dose will result in a reduction in the quality of the hair gained from the use of minoxidil to a point where it would be as if you had never taken it in the first place.

minoxidil is not a cure for hairloss nor is it a magical tonic from outer space, It combined with other treatments may delay the onset of male pattern baldness for a number of years.
