minoxidil on hairline - better/worse?

I have been on the big 3 for nearly 4 months and have good regrowth except the left side of my hair line which is alot thinner than the right side.
I use minoxidil on my hairline and worry that it is killing the left sides regrowth.

Does anyone think i should stop using minoxidil on my hairline?

I don't think you should stop.

Either you believe minoxidil works for hair regrowth or it doesn't. I don't think it is reasonable to believe that it works in some areas of the scalp and has a negative effect in others (hairline).

I was wondering the same question. I have fine regrowth on the sides but it seems to just thin on the top front of my head near the front. On a side note should you not use minoxidil on the top front of your head?

Redness

Does anyone get red blotches and itchiness from minoxidil? I am afraid I will have to stop. I won't use finasteride. Guess I am screwed unless I can find some alternatives. Suggestions?
