minoxidil on a bald scalp vs w/ hair

I had my head shaved about 6 weeks ago for almost 2 months and when I applied my minoxidil it dried in like 10 min - 15 tops. With hair it seems to take a few hours now. Heres my ? do you think having a shaved head would increase the absorbtion? and give any extra benefits?

Just a thought going thru my mind.

The reason it dried faster is because it evaporated faster due to increased airflow. So no, you're not absorbing more, but the upshot is your scalp is less likely to get irritated (which can be a real problem, let me tell you!).

I do notice that when my head is shaved/near shaved it takes a lot less to cover the scalp (as none is being wasted by coating hair).
