is using minoxidil 3-4 times a day a good idea?

You're definitely increasing the possibility of getting unwanted systemic side effects, but I suppose it's not any different than using a higher concentration prescription formulation. I'd use care regardless...the manufacturers recommend 2x/day application for a reason.

I’ve done it before. I’ll probably start doing it again. The only bad side effect is turning my scalp too hamburger, lots of itching & lots of flaking.
