This has obviously been discussed before. But does anyone else notice that shedding decreases if you take a week or so off minoxidil? I know I’m likely to be shot down as “minoxidil sheds are part of the process” but we are talking several years I’ve been on it. I take finisteride and blindly keep plugging away with daily minoxidil each day with the hope of regrowth but the shedding is pretty relentless, now after a week off minoxidil it’s stopping. Is there any possibility that minoxidil just makes hair worse?
