Minoxidil - Half Life - Topical Solution

I've heard from Bernstein Medical's website, that topical Minoxidil has a half-life of 22 hours. Is this true?

I've heard from other sites that it has a half life of 4 hours. Can someone clear up this confusion? Moreover, if I applied topical solution and 3 hours later went into the pool, would minoxidil still remain in my scalp?

Minoxidil applied topically has a half life of 22 hours. Oral minoxidil has a half life of 4 hours. The minimum amount of time recommended after applying topical minoxidil before swimming/washing your hair is 4 hours.

Whatevers left I believe most of it will have been absorbed in the scalp by then.
