Someone should create a minoxidil based gel that can be used as a styling product. Surprised no one has done this.

I'm not surprised at all. First of all the required amount of minoxidil that must be used in order for it to be effective would make the gel extremely expensive. Secondly, since it's meant to style your hair minoxidil wouldn't be nearly as effective as when applied normally because it wouldn't penetrate the scalp as well. Lastly, most people's hair looks like sh*t with minoxidil in it, why would they want that?

Well, of course you'd have to rub some of the gel into your scalp.

See, the point is that your hair wouldn't look like sh*t because it would look like there's gel in it.

I'm curious because I've never heard you mention any specifics about your hair or concerns you've had about it. When I looked at your profile, you didn't have anything down for treatments. Are you currently taking anything?

I'm taking nothing at the moment. I took Propecia for 6 months though.

I don't want to commit to anything (like spironolactone, minoxidil etc) until I am desperate.

I have been able to slow and stop my hairloss through a combination of exercise, hair washing methods, diet, and vitamins+supplements.

First off, Nick, I like that out-of-the-box thinking on the styling gel idea. I don't think that particular idea is feasible, as the concentration would probably make it uneconomical and the gel would probably leave the infamous grey dust on the user's head, but it is a start. I'm telling you, Nick, one of these days well make a fortune selling snake oils from all we have learned here on HairLossTalk.com dot com.

I'm shocked that you don't have a regimen, NicK. Are you telling me that you made me fill out that entire f*****g page and a half questionnaire that you posted here way back when for nothing!?!

Let me guess, your a norwood .25 with slight indiscernible diffusion too, right? Healthy Nick if you were able to stop hairloss by only taking those above actions then it's likely you were not balding at all. Everyday I wish that I never had hairloss. I can never grasp how someone who's not balding would want to linger around a hairloss forum so much.

No, I am definitly losing my hair. In fact, I've been wanting to get pictures online for sometime. If someone can help me, I will get them on and then you can judge.
