I've read a few posts about how our follicles are under dht attack only when in the growth phase. When they're resting they're pretty much left alone. Is this right?

Does that mean treatments like minoxidil which seems to work by putting more hairs in growth phase, actual do us more harm?

That would mean that the final outcome, whatever it will be, is brought about sooner, at least in terms of damage. But to have thicker hair while you are young sounds good to me. And if you are one of the people who propecia would have worked for, then that is not too bad.

I don't think most of the hair loss on propecia comes from continued attack, per say. It does, but it mostly comes from follicles becoming more sensitive with genetics, i think. now maybe DHT attack causes them to be more sensitive, in addition to genetics and timing. But the propecia group that got off propecia for a year and got back on caught up with the rest of the propecia group, so i don't think that is the case.

I asked a similar question abuot CPs ages ago - keeping the hair in the growth phase constantly might accelerate the whole process.

Bryan said "i would never say copper peptides kept hair constantly in the growth phase!"

But as to the original question, i'm not sure...

if all they do is keep it in the growth phase longer, that is not true regrowth in my opinion. If they actaully repair the hair so it can stand on its own for a month without their help, then I would consider that a true regrowth.
