minoxidil, body rash?

I have this red rash on my arm, nothing huge but the rash is slightly raised and none-itchy. I am pretty sure the minoxidil didn't drip on my arms but I can't be sure. Can minoxidil cause a rash on your arm or body?? pls help.

You must be allergic to PPG,try the foam.

i think that ist minoxidil and not PPG

but they say a rash is a common side effect of minoxidil and can go away even if i contunie using it. DO they mean a rash on the scalp or a rash anywhere on the body?

Yes it could be on your scalp or it could all over your body.Once I went out with minoxidil on but I ended up getting drenched in the rain.I had severe itching in my scalp as well as my forehead.It became alright by itself in a couple of days.

I got non-itchy rash on my abdomen and torso a week after using Rogaine (5% minoxidil).

Does the rash appear on other parts besides the scalp?

Is it always itchy?

How long does it take to go away?
