I had tried revivogen for 6 months., it didnt do much for me., a month ago i started using the nizoral shampoo and i am thinking of starting minoxidil.,

baldness is not obvious yet., but i can see the thinning., i just turned 28... i have pics somewhere that i will post., including a more recent pic after i trim down the hair,

my question...
I have seen many post about the drying time with the liquid minoxidil, applying it once a day... is there an issue with applying it overnight as your 1 dose? is it less effective?

i have already ruined 2 pillows from using revivogen (it turned them orange/brown) so i dont mind leaving it on overnight...

Apply it an hour or half an hour before bed. You should be fine.

I guess its up to you. I don't apply it in the morning, only once a day just before I sleep.

if you apply it before you go to sleep you should let it dry first . you dont want it wasted on your pillow . and you dont want in on your face when you turn over in your sleep .

Some people claim that once/day applications suffice with minoxidil treatments so you can apply at night but like the other guys have suggested, make sure you apply it some time before bed so you don't waste it on the pillow.

thank you everyone
i just picked up a 6 mo pack from costco., i will also make an appointment to go see a dermatoligist....

i have seen overall thinning hair which probably started 1.5 years ago (i am now 28).. a part of me wants to believe that it was stress / work related... it probably is/was, so i tried revivonogen last september for 6 months., it messed up a few pillows but that was about it., did not really see any regrowth., i keep my hair short., i noticed that i had lost more hair in end july early july.. (i lost my job in june)... but now have a much better job :) but less-er hair...

i would rather not injest pills :(

i dont have vertex loss., i wish i could buz it .5 inch short and take a pic but i am afraid what it would look like... right now its doing a good job of covering the thinning...
so at this point in time i am not sure if i should just jump in and start using the minoxidil.... i use nizoral. shampoo 1% 3ish times a week...

there is lots of advice on this forum., so im going back and forth and reading it all...

bottom line., i need to find out the cause of my hairloss...
